This Privacy Policy describes how Central Homes Roofing & Solar (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Central Homes Lead Routing SMS program (the “Service”). The Service is a closed, internal program that sends operational SMS notifications to Central Homes Roofing & Solar employees and contracted sales representatives about incoming roofing leads.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to the phone numbers and related employment data of Central Homes Roofing & Solar’s W-2 employees and 1099 contracted sales representatives who have provided express written consent by signing an Employee Communications Consent Form authorizing receipt of operational SMS messages as a condition of their role. The Service is not offered to the general public.
Information we collect
- Phone number. Provided by the employee at onboarding and stored in the Service’s internal database for the purpose of sending lead-offer SMS.
- Employee identifier. The employee’s name and role, stored alongside the phone number to associate inbound SMS replies (YES / NO / STOP) with the correct person.
- SMS message metadata. Timestamps, message-id, and delivery status for each SMS sent or received through Twilio, retained for operational troubleshooting and dispute resolution.
- Lead-routing activity. Which leads each representative was offered, accepted, or declined, retained as part of normal business records.
How we use this information
- To send lead-offer SMS messages and route incoming roofing leads to available sales representatives.
- To process inbound replies (YES, NO, STOP, HELP) and update the lead-routing system accordingly.
- To honor opt-out requests and stop sending messages to anyone who has replied STOP.
- To diagnose delivery problems and respond to subscriber inquiries.
- To maintain internal business records of lead distribution.
How we share this information
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or any other personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and message contents are transmitted only to the following service providers, strictly to operate the Service:
- Twilio Inc. — our SMS carrier aggregator, which transmits the messages to mobile carriers.
- Mobile carrier networks — to deliver each message to the recipient device.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of these services is permitted; all other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates from the recipient’s mobile carrier may apply.
Opting out
You may opt out of receiving SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from the Service, or by asking your manager to remove your number from the routing rotation. After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further operational SMS.
Data retention
Phone numbers and routing records are retained for as long as you remain in the role, plus a reasonable period afterward for business-records purposes. SMS message metadata is retained for up to 36 months for delivery-troubleshooting and compliance reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and role-based access controls for our internal dashboard. No system is perfectly secure; we do not warrant absolute protection from unauthorized access.
Children’s privacy
The Service is offered exclusively to adult employees and contractors of Central Homes Roofing & Solar. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active participants through their normal employment channels. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
